UFO craft, strange lights, a mysterious voice and three small beings interact intermittently with a crowd of thirty to fifty for two hours or more…..Summertime, possibly August, 1950
A classic “abduction” of four or five people.
Below are drawings with short comments depicting strange happenings one evening at the Bethany Grade School Playground when a crowd of thirty to fifty people were waiting for an outdoor movie to began. The movie was sponsored through the City Recreation Department and the Cooper Theater. The theater was located in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska.
Seeing three small beings get out of the windowed saucer and work on the ground. The saucer had landed in an empty lot just across the street from the playground…and the crowd eventually lined up along the street on this side to observe what was happening.
The windowed saucer quit shinning brilliantly, then floundered down to about 15 to 20 feet above the crowd, where it hovered. A semi loud rich male voice, speaking in perfect English, then encouraged all to gather under the saucer, etc. He said 5 or 6 of us would be levitated up to the saucer and those of us chosen would experience an examination. He said we should not be frightened because they could make us forget if that was what we wished.
The craft then rose higher above us and it once again illuminated brilliantly. Our small group looked at the crowd and they all seemed frozen or parallelized. Our group was about 40 feet away, unaffected.
This was and still is the most frightening time of my life. After at least three others were separately levitated up and returned, I was slowly manipulated through various actions by what seemed to be a human guide until he and I arrived in the center of the windowed saucer.
I eventually was returned to the ground and the windowed saucer eventually left. Yet, I strongly felt I should run to Cotner Boulevard, which I did. I stopped in the middle of the street (just in front of McCartney’s Garage). I turned toward the East and saw the windowed saucer approaching me. After several strange moves, it mysteriously stopped this car and hovered above it for a time. The car’s headlights stopped shinning.
The windowed saucer eventually left by way of flying and floating just above the tree tops, to the west, zig zagging right and left down Holdredge Street.
You can find a lengthy detailed narration of this Bethany Grade School Playground Encounter in Chapter Two of the book Eminent Discovery.
