It has been seen by others also — half way around the world.
Read the account below as evidence of the “windowed saucer’s” actual existence. The writing is by Bob Teets who also was present at the 1993 Rocky Mountain UFO Conference in Laramie, Wyoming. Cynthia Hind was a South African journalist on the stage speaking:
“So, here I was in Laramie, listening to a South African journalist and sitting next to an American fluidics engineer who had documented his lifelong UFO experiences in a series of remarkable drawings. Cynthia Hind’s voice seemed about to hit a crescendo, signaling she was coming to a dramatic part of her presentation.
She explained that her interview with a South African tribesman had culminated with the man retrieving a piece of charcoal from a previous night’s campfire and drawing for her a likeness of the UFO he had encountered some few months previously out in the bush. “And here is a representation of his drawing,” she said, placing a transparency on the overhead projector.
I sucked in a deep breath.
The one in my hand depicted a saucer with hinged, tripod legs. The one on the screen was identical in every way, even including the shading.
The drawing in my hand was John Foster’s. The one on the screen was from a tribesman, half a world away.
Had John Foster ever met Cynthia Hind or seen the tribesman’s drawing or, in a most far-out proposition, ever met the tribesman?
No, Foster said.
How was it that I had just then picked up one drawing, out of a stack of at least several dozen, which exactly, precisely matched the one on the screen?
It was, for me, a deciding moment. I was on to something, and all my journalist’s instincts were reverberating within me like bells. It was truly the start of an adrenaline rush that would propel me through several years of UFO research and interviews with some 3,000 UFO “experiencers” all over the country. None would be so intriguing, so absolutely riveting, bizarre, far-out, instructive, challenging and representative of the entire UFO phenomenon as John Foster’s incredible story, though.” (See Bob Teets’ complete write up in Appendix A of the book Eminent Discovery Volume 2.)

This was one of the most solid pieces of evidence that have convinced some others and me that my memories are true and accurate.
Even though the drawing was similar to a UFO encounter that took place in South Africa, witnessed by a number of people, it actually represents a time when I was seven years old attending a YMCA summer camp along the Blue River northwest of Crete, Nebraska. Several people, mostly young boys like me and some adults, witnessed the appearance of “the windowed saucer.”
The voice coming from the saucer talked somewhat frivolously about the Native Americans and buffalo and other things that we didn’t totally understand. When other disc-shaped craft materialized behind the saucer, we began running to chase them. However one of the camp counselors called me back and told me “the voice” wanted to talk to me.
As I stood there somewhat frightened, he again explained things about the Native Americans and buffalo, etc.
Strange things had occurred before we encountered the windowed saucer and other strange things occurred after. It got so frightening that the camp Chaplin took me aside and accused me of attracting the evil encounters because of my lack of faith. He then had the entire group pray for me at our evening meal.
It’s important to know that I don’t now feel and didn’t then feel that the encounters were evil as we collectively perceive what evil is. I believe the encounters were more like tests to get me to think about certain things and to prepare me for things in which they wanted me to participate in the future…things that would help humankind, things like the et/human “project” of which you can discover more in the four UFO books I have authored…see item 5 in the menu above.
