– Because I know well beyond doubt that I experienced many mysterious UFO encounters for more than 46 years;

– because I know others and I witnessed various mysterious manifestations of different types of objects and crafts in time/space;

– because I know others and I met mysterious but normal human men, mysterious strange beings, and a mysterious voice, all of whom also mysteriously manifested and spoke to us in various ways, for various reasons;

I believe more detailed descriptions of those occurrences should give you and me a better understanding of the entire phenomenon. This also should give us a better idea how we as human beings can live in the future with a deeper understanding of our eternal universe. It should give us a better understanding of time and space, of modern and ancient science, modern and ancient religion, and modern and ancient history.   

As you possibly can imagine, this quest can be enormously complex. Therefore I will approach it by first explaining parts of some specific encounters with more detailed observations of the manifestations and communications. The details might get a little boring. However, I’ve found throughout the years it is the study and analysis of details that leads to a more authentic truth and deeper understanding…with or without extensive modern scientific knowledge.

It might be more meaningful if we start analyzing encounters that occurred when I was very young – two or three years old – at 68th and Garland Streets (southeast corner) in Lincoln, Nebraska, 1939 or 1940, Summer, Spring or Fall:

When I was young

Hearing “the voice” for the first time:

“When I was very young, about two or three years old, I sometimes would play on the sidewalk, at the corner, in front of our house. And at times I felt excruciating forces on my body and mind; I could hardly move. Hearing roaring sounds above me, I struggled to look upward. I sometimes saw the craft (disc-shaped craft) hovering and moving slowly several yards above me in the fog or haze. And I sometimes heard a voice talking, at times to me about something I could not understand. After I gain control again, I would run to the house to tell my mother.

These mysterious, shocking episodes were only a part of the very unusual beginning of my entire lifetime that was peppered, for more than 46 years, with three dimensional and multidimensional contacts of mysterious crafts and beings that arrived strangely and physically from the unknown…from another place, beyond our time and space”……..John

As I recall, most of these were somewhat short simple encounters. However, I do recall experiencing the same sequence, but then somehow finding myself moving into what was most probably “the elongated saucer.” The elongated saucer had windows and passengers’ seats. That episode is mentioned in my first book Eminent Discovery.

Some observations:
– A couple of these encounters occurred after I was given a kiddie car for Christmas or my birthday. I had a hard time at first getting in and out of the car. It most always occurred at the corner of the sidewalk just northwest of our house.

– I remember sitting there in the kiddie car and first hearing roaring sounds above me. I was completely confused but not excited. I tried to bend my head back and look upward because the sound was directly above me.

– I then saw clouds that were not more than 60 feet above me. I still heard the roaring and possibly music.

– The sounds moved periodically from a few feet behind (where I couldn’t see) to a few feet ahead…still about 60 feet above me.

– Then after what seemed to be a short time, I would see the rough form of what was most probably a craft immersed within the volume of clouds. The craft or object was gray, elongated, and rounded with no detail…a smooth surface, somewhat abstract.

The craft moved with the sounds and some of the clouds also might have moved at least slightly with the craft and sounds…from a few feet behind to a few feet ahead, to a position of 45 degrees up ahead of me. The craft periodically disappeared before it presumably reappeared behind me…reappearing simultaneously or a short time later.

– During at least a couple of these encounters I heard a voice speaking and I heard music, at least sometimes as the voice was speaking. The roaring might have been muffled during the sequence when the voice was speaking. It was a rich male voice speaking in what I now know was perfect English. Yet, I didn’t understand what it said.

– It seems as if the music and voice might have been temporarily interrupted as the craft disappeared and reappeared.

– I remember, at least twice, I got my feet stuck in the kiddie car and couldn’t get out for a time. I recall being panicked before I freed my feet. I would then run to the house to tell my mother.

– During one or two of these encounters I mysteriously moved into what I call “the elongated saucer” before I ran to the house to tell my mother. The episode in “the elongated saucer” involved seeing and meeting adults who I now suspect were most probably people who I call “the familiar strangers.” (See the books and website for an explanation of the familiar strangers.) I roughly recall we were given instructions at that time concerning what we were to do in the future. This seems extremely strange considering I was only two or three years old.

Overview

The communications

The voice when he spoke from the craft above me was somewhat formal, speaking words that now seem to have been documental or ritualistic. The volume of the message was somewhat low or muffled. Even though I don’t recall the words spoken, it strongly seems as if the messages were similar or identical to those that I heard at times throughout the entire 46 plus years. And, even though I don’t recall the exact words spoken, it’s possible that this same message particularly was repeated during that 46 plus year period under a variety of circumstances. It seems to have been the same voice or mysterious intelligence during that period.

These formal messages we heard from “the voice” were most often spoken as an encounter began. The messages also were embedded within lengthy encounters from time to time, I assume to gain our attention in certain ways. They seemed to have been orchestrated in a sequential timing to fit the other strange things that were happening.

Considering that I experienced an enormous number of encounters during the 46 years and considering these were encounters I was not expected to remember, it seems as if the ideas conveyed were meant to be a subconscious influence that would follow me the rest of my life. It seems as if it were a brain washing, so to speak, that would trigger certain reactions from me in the future. I am certain they were meant to condition my underlying subconscious sensitivities and/or intellect. In addition, I believe it’s possible they were meant to subconsciously aid in my ability to recall the clandestine encounters during my flood of recollections in 1986/1987.

The manifestations:

The manifestations of the craft others and I witnessed visually I suspect are some of the most difficult things for anyone to believe. You just don’t hear about people saying they saw something appearing nearby in mid air. Yet, there are some witnesses who can verify they saw, under several different circumstances, the craft that I saw.

During these encounters when I was two or three years old playing on the sidewalk at 68th and Garland Streets, I did not witness the craft appearing behind me. However, I did see the craft disappear ahead of me. It disappeared into the mass of slightly moving medium dark gray clouds…the clouds also moving slowly from behind me to 45 degrees upward ahead of me. When the crafts were gone at about 45 degrees up ahead of me, I noticed that the clouds remained. They again remained slightly moving as I recall from back to front.

What was additionally puzzling was that, at times, I momentarily saw the craft began to disappear more directly above me, while a short time later or simultaneously it reappeared ahead of itself. This happened only once or twice during the sequence of the craft moving from behind me to the final position at 45 degrees up ahead of me. It then more obviously disappeared and I assume reappeared behind me, when I again heard the roaring behind me. This happened during the entire short sequences periodically.

This sequence of the craft appearing and moving for a short time, then beginning to disappear (in the clear distorted atmosphere, in the haze, cloud or fog), and then simultaneously or a short time later reappearing (several feet or a few to several yards ahead of itself) was somewhat typical of many of the encounters that occurred throughout the entire 46 years of experience.

A few temporary summaries and conclusions

Even though I don’t have witnesses for these encounters at 68th and Garland Streets in Lincoln, I do have some witnesses that verify my memories of parts of other encounters. My memories of all encounters have some similar characteristics concerning many aspects, and I have discovered many, many other facts and happenings that support the validity of my memories. Therefore I feel very comfortable accepting that most of my memories are very accurate.

Yet, when one compares what I recall with the information and happenings that are described in The Bible and other historical and religious writings, it becomes obvious that many of the detailed characteristics of those writings are similar. For instance when God arrived on a cloud and spoke from a cloud.

This is one of the most disturbing correlations between modern UFO/spiritual encounters and The Bible/historical writings.

The implications of this is so consequential it deserves extensive analysis. Therefore, should I still be alive, I will address it and other implications in another article sometime later.

One of the more obvious implications of these encounters, mirrored against my 46 year period of UFO experience, is that I for some reason was allowed to know, in somewhat great detail, at least one of the hidden mysteries of life.

It’s important that those of us, who believe that the messages of The Bible and other religious documents are eternally true, remain faithful in our beliefs. I firmly believe detailed knowledge of modern UFO encounters and modern spiritual encounters does not negate what was written in the past, but only expands the knowledge in an atmosphere of deeper scientific understanding of all kinds. Those who wrote those important religious documents did not know or understand what we of the modern age understand…accepting of course that they most probably had a more spontaneous innate understanding that might have been as deep or deeper than our own.

We are now experiencing a new age that does not negate the past, but fulfills it…does not negate The Bible and other historical documents, but fulfills them.
