   Thanks for the link, John.  I remember when I crafted this talk, I wanted people to know that I had looked at ancient alien and secret space program topics, Sitchin included, Law of One, channelled Ra Material, and different types of beings… topics that many people dismiss.  This was in part an exploration into what sense could be made of the fact that for 200,000 years there’s almost nothing that occurred, little if anything in recorded history.  It was also a retort to the late Christopher Hitchens who described God as sitting back for 198,000 years with folded hands only then deciding it was time to do something about human suffering, by sending Christ down to save the world. The issue/problem is humanity experienced a world wide expansion of thought during the “axial age” 8th to 3rd century BC, crying out for an explanation. It’s at least reasonable to question whether something “struck” humanity. Was it mysterious intelligences? Was it a recapitulation of an advanced civilization that had left traces of memory/technology following a worldwide cataclysm like Graham Hancock suggests?

   Or was it the advent of farming/agriculture? That is a reasonable alternative explanation. Once a culture gains some sense of stability and security (such as surplus grain storage) permanent structures are not far off such that humanity could begin to have just enough free time to preserve those gains and make sacrifices today for a better future tomorrow. Plus begin to document what they have learned about being in the world in the form of writing, painting and oral tradition….wisdom and discoveries important to pass along.

   Together, all these explanations make sense only if we take seriously an exploration into where new ideas come from in the first place. When you try to solve a problem in earnest, any problem, something happens. Creative imagination in the form of solutions descend or arrive. The word used to describe this had been “Eureka!” The origin of that word is “I have found it!” and had been attributed to scientific discoveries. The problem is whoever is the recipient of such solutions then takes credit for having come up with the idea when the truth is more accurately described as “It found me!”

   Focus and hard work remains part of the process, but creativity is something that manifests only when we push ourselves to the limits of ordered practice, diligence and serious contemplation. When in a creative flow state such as this, it is more proper and accurate to say you were the receiver or conduit of the discovery, not the producer. You just happened to be there and were in the right position of openness to be the bearer of the good news. That discovery leads to other discoveries such that creative juices of progenitors stand on the shoulders of giants…often resulting in exponential societal growth. There’s a reason why scientists often “race” to making new discoveries and those discoveries often co-occur at or near the same time.

   There’s good reason to suggests agriculture from Gobekli Tepe arrived earlier than the axial age, perhaps by thousands of years. This discovery could have been wiped out and rediscovered in the imagination via accessing collective memories. Information is not lost once it is experienced. Once the strike happens in the form of mental interaction, it emerges and re-emerges in the form of intelligence or received wisdom. Encountering intelligence and ideas while inhabiting a mental realm in the manner I suggested in your (John Foster’s) experiences affirms the importance of your careful record-keeping.
