Consider that the passages in The Bible are true and accurate!

Since my 1986/1987 flood of UFO encounter recollections I have considered that the mysterious things other people and I had experienced from my birth in 1937 until that very year of 1986 were very similar to what was written in the original letters that were used to create the book of The Bible.

Consider that the original Biblical passages that were written (in the letters that have been interpreted into various languages, at various times for approximately 20 centuries) are still true and accurate according to the understandings of the original writers and the various subsequent interpreters.

Also, consider that all readers of The Bible interpret the words and passages in at least slightly different ways, ways that are defined by their years of unique life experience (recent and otherwise), their various types of education (religious and otherwise), and their physical, spiritual, and mental makeup.

And, of course, consider that there is, indeed, a God who communicates with us at all times through our individual subconscious…through prayer, ESP, spiritual/psychic transmissions and through spontaneous happenings and otherwise.

From Chapter One in the book Eminent Discovery Volume 1: “…Watching the soft orange sky, I suddenly saw the most brilliant light I had ever seen; it hovered in front of the mountain peaks. My heart suddenly exploded in coronary arrhythmias – I fell to my knees while rivers of tears washed my cheeks. For an unknown time, a strange force pierced my body and soul. I could hardly breath, but continued weeping uncontrollably…”

And also consider that that eternal timeless/spaceless God communicates with us individually at all times…but at those different times in different ways that perfectly fit what we are doing and thinking at those times …i.e, perfectly fit according to His Will as it fits our will at those specific times.

With all of this (and more) in mind, consider that it is now the Christmas season. Compare the birth of Christ to some of my/our, your, others UFO encounters. Here is one example:

*************

Luke 8-14 (NKJV)

Glory in the Highest

8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And [c]behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a [d]manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 “Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill[e] toward men!”

*************

May there be peace and good will toward all men…all humans, the animals and plants.

With all of this in mind, again consider that it is now the Christmas season. Compare the birth of Christ story to some of my/our, your, others UFO encounters and/or spiritual encounters.

Our 1975 family Dillion Lake encounter:

My recollections of our 1975 family Dillion Lake encounter are on Page 141 of the book Eminent Discovery Volume 1.

The following are statements of our two daughters concerning what they remember about our 1975 family Dillon Lake UFO encounter. Their witness statements were recorded 12 years later in 1987, during or shortly after my 1986/1987 flood of recollections; they are in Appendix B, Statements From Witnesses in the book Eminent Discovery Volume 2.

————————————-

Karen (Foster) Beaman – (presenty Karen Foster, Welding Instructor at a local college) – my youngest daughter – partner/owner-operator of a very successful cleaning business, among various other endeavors –
associates degree in business – mother/homemaker for over 18 years –
Karen recalls parts of the 1975 Dillon Lake experience in Colorado (Chapter
Six). The following are a few of her statements concerning her memories. I
questioned her and her sister Kindra separately in 1987 on different days,
without one knowing what the other had recalled. They had similar reactions;
their eyes opened wide and they gasped for air when they had their fist
memories of the lights and craft. However, I didn’t record their statements at
that time. The following are Karen’s statements that were recorded a few
years later, in the mid 1990s. She begins by trying to remember what she
remembered the first time in 1987. During this mid 1990s session, I asked
only one question.

John: “This is Karen Collins (her last name at the time) and she
would like to give an input on the book. But she says her brains are fried, so
take it for a grain of salt. You’re on Kar.”
Karen: “My brains are fried. I can’t think about anything.”
John: “Give us your recollection of the Dillon Lake experience in
1975.”
Karen: “Let’s see. W hat I remember is – my first fleeting thought was
a vision of dad’s face, with a pail light shining on his face, standing by the
side of the lake. And I remember seeing his face. And I remember him
telling us, me and my brother, that everything was OK, and not to be worried.
And that’s all I remembered for a while. And I also use to dream about the
campsite that we were at that time – on that particular trip to Dillon Lake. I
use to dream about that campsite all the time. And I remembered feeling
really sad, when we left there, that next morning. I remembered sitting there
thinking I really hated to leave. And I had sort of a really melancholy feeling
when we left. And I always remembered that. But, I really hadn’t thought
much about it until later.
And once I started really trying to recall what really went on, I
remembered seeing some shapes out in the water. Ah. All I could see was,
like, the dark area – no detail I don’t remember. But I remember two shapes.
One of them was kind of flat and long. And I do remember seeing something
that looked like headlights on the flat long shape. And I remember seeing a
tall rectangular type shape. And I remember yelling at my sister to come
down and hurry to see what was going on out here, or else she was going to
miss it.
And I can’t remember exactly what we were seeing. But then, mom
called for supper and we all decided that we had better go. I don’t remember
exactly what happened. I remember bits and pieces. I remember my brother
and I being out over the water, and I remember us laughing. It was a free-fall
feeling. And I remember looking down at the water and I remember the
feeling of turning somersaults. You know, airless. And we were having a
really good time, my brother and I. And I remember a voice telling us we had
to come back. And I remember, maybe like three times in a row, this voice
telling us we had to come back. As far as down on the water, that’s about all
I remember.
Then later that evening, we were all sitting around a campfire. And I
remember scooting over by my mother, because there was – we looked up
and there were, like, spotlights shining all over. And we thought the police
were looking for somebody or something. And then there were a lot of
spotlights all over. And I remember looking up and – I don’t remember any
detail about what this light looked like. I can’t remember how many spots
there were up there. But there were some spots of lights, up above us. And I
looked all around at everyone sitting around the fire and everyone was in the
spotlight. It was light; everything was lighted up.
And I remember on down the hill, I don’t remember which direction –
I never knew my north, east, west and south, so – it was to the side of the fire
where the hill started slopping down. Everybody got up to go over there and
look at something. There was something over there. And I remember, real
vividly, everyone standing around an object, looking at it and talking about it.
And I remember standing close to my mom and staying there. And I
remember seeing – I don’t remember a lot about the object, except that it had
a door. And it looked kind of like a stagecoach to me. It had two windows,
one on each side. And I saw my sister, Kindra, sitting in there, through the
window. And it was like a – just a little square shack, building type thing. I
don’t remember any other details.
W hile we were over by the object, thing, I don’t’ remember any lights.
I just have a short glimpse – I see Kindy sitting in there. And I see grandpa
Glen, very clearly, standing outside of it, looking at it, kind of looking at the
front, looking around the side, and kind of inspecting it. And I remember
standing close to mom. And I think – somebody was – I think it was Brad
who was considering getting in. And somebody was trying to talk him into
getting in there. And I don’t remember who. And he didn’t really want in and
he didn’t really know for sure of he wanted to. And I don’t remember if he
really did. And I can’t remember if I did.
And, I don’t remember color. I have a hard time remembering any
specific details, except for everybody’s faces. I remember faces of everybody
real well. There may have been some light there, because it was night. But
we could see. There must have been light, because I could see every one’s
faces. And I could see grandpa, from head to toe.”
John: “W as the surface of the object dark?”
Karen: “I think it was kind of darker, because I remember seeing
Kindy inside of it. So it must have been lighter inside of it, than it was on the
outside. So I think the surface of it was dark. And it was a little lighter inside.
But I don’t remember what direction.
…It seems like there was some light behind it. And there had to have
been some light around us, but I don’t think it was extremely bright. I don’t
remember everybody’s faces looking bright, white, light. But, maybe there
was some light behind it.
And, that’s all I remember. I remember the next morning, getting up,
and we had everything packed up and ready to go. And I remember sitting
on a log, and looking around, and looking around, and having this real weird
feeling that I didn’t really want to go – just like a melancholy feeling. I don’t
know how to explain it. And I’ve always dreamt about that campsite. I don’t
know specifically what I dreamt, but it was always in my dreams. I think I was
in seventh grade. So I must have been eleven – or twelve. That would have
been – I was born in 62 so it would have been 72, 73 – 73 or 74. I was in the
seventh grade. It was right at the end of seventh grade, so I must have been
twelve. So it was 73 or 74.
Karen

One of my views just before Karen saw the flat long shape with two headlights. Notice Karen and Brad playing with the rocks along the shore.

Kindra (Foster) Lindbloom – (presently Kindra Foster, Freelance Writer/Editor) – my oldest daughter
Phi Beta Kappa – award winning professional writer/editor – freelance writer,
manager of website – convention organizer – past speech writer for former
governor Nelson of Nebraska – homemaker and mother for over 16 years –
Kindra, also like Karen on the previous slides, remembers parts of the 1975
Dillon Lake experience (Chapter Six). She experienced the same reaction as
Karen in 1987 when I questioned them separately on different days – one not
knowing what the other recalled. Like Karen’s case, I didn’t record the
original interview. It wasn’t until this year, March of 2000, that I recorded
more fully what she remembers. W hen you read about my conversation with
the voice, you might realize, because of the noise that would be produced,
that the voice and I couldn’t have carried on a conversation if the hovering
object was a helicopter. And no other man-made objects at that time could
have hovered as it did. (W hen Kindra refers to “you,” she is addressing me,
her father.)

Kindra: “First about the campground up in Colorado – I think it was
my first year in high school. W e went camping with my grandpa, Glen. It was
kind of off season, early in the season. So we went into this campground by
Dillon Lake. And there weren’t many people around. And we were at this
camping spot, and we had a little Scotty trailer. And it was kind of just up a
road from the lake, sort of just up on a hill and there was just a little hollow
that went down from our camping spot.
And later one night, what I thought was a helicopter came in and shot
a spotlight on our – actually first shot a spotlight down in the hollow. It moved
around the whole clearing, as if it were looking for something. And there was
a little blue pup tent down there. W e hadn’t seen anybody, but there was this
little tent down there and we saw the spotlight shining down on it – like we
thought maybe they were looking for an ex-con or something. And the light
stopped on the blue tent. It was up there above the trees.
And then, it came back up the hill to the campground. And I
remember getting butterflies in my stomach or something. And it just
hovered over our camping spot. And I remember being really afraid, looking
around to see where you were. And a light was shining down and there was a
voice coming out of it. And I can’t remember what they said. But, as I was
thinking about it later, I realized there was not wind, there was no helicopter
noise. I don’t remember any kind of noise or anything, but I remember the
voice – it was a man’s voice, kind of a deep man’s voice. And he was talking
directly at us, like having conversation with us, which we thought was kind of
weird. And we thought it was a helicopter, some kind of helicopter, and he
was talking with dad.
I don’t remember anything about what it said. I think it was asking
questions, about something – that’s all I remember. The weirdest thing about
it is that I don’t remember anything blowing around or any helicopter noise,
you know, roaring or anything like that. The voice sounded really close and
clear. And I wish I could remember what it said, but I can’t. I felt like I was
just terrified. But I was confident, because I thought you had it under control;
you were talking to it. I remember it was all very polite, or, kind of
business-like. You know you were talking to them, making them accountable
for why they were shining their light into our campground. The voice had a lot
of authority to it. And he wasn’t talking mean or harsh or commanding or
anything like that. The feeling that I had was that he was just gathering
information. I was watching you to see how you were reacting and you were
very calm. You were on guard. You were calm and you had a smile on your
face part of the time. You were talking with just as much authority with the
guy in the – whatever it was. I mean I thought you were talking with him as a
peer, you know. I remember thinking that they were kind of like law
enforcement or something. Because I remember we talked about it years
after that there was a convict or something down there in that little blue pup
tent.
And then, later on, I remember dad and I taking a walk around the
lake and we got up to the dam, –I think it was the dam – or it was the side
where there was a road, right by the lake. And we looked down and it was
kind of misty – foggy. And, right in the middle of the lake, right in the middle
of off season – it couldn’t have been long since the lake had been frozen
over, if it was even, maybe, partly frozen over, because it was really cold…
Anyway, so we looked down on the lake and right on the lake was this little
houseboat, what I thought was a houseboat, but it was a really weird
houseboat, because it had kind of a shallow bottom, and, you know, there
weren’t any rails, up on the sides, to keep anybody from falling out or
anything. And the other weird thing about it was the house part was just a big
rectangle. It almost looked to me like somebody had home-made it out of
something like plywood or something – except I couldn’t see what it was
made out of. It was all gray. The roof was flat. And it was really strange,
because there were no windows around it that I could see, except right on the
end, there was a rectangular shape, it seemed like. And then, on the narrow
end that was facing us , there was a door cut into the middle and two little
windows on either side, but the door didn’t have a door in it; it was just a hole.
And the same with the windows, there wasn’t a frame; there wasn’t any
framework around them – and no panes, no curtains or anything like that.
And it was just sitting out there – out in the middle of nowhere. So if it was a
boat, somebody would have had to gone out in another boat to it, and come
back. There wasn’t anybody in it or anything. The inside looked just plain
black – dark. And that’s all I remember. It wasn’t moving or anything. But it
was really strange though. It was kind of an overcast day. And what I
remember is that it was still really misty and foggy out on the lake. That’s all I
remember.”
Kindra
(Kindra also recalls a blue haze that manifested behind our cottage
on Leighton Street in the early to mid 1970s, which I recall was a part of a
very short insignificant sighting.)

My view of Kindra and Brad as the luminous craft moved in from the lake and shot spotlights down on the small blue tent.

There are many other authentic personal UFO/spiritual stories in the books Eminent Discovery Volumes 1 & 2 and in the book To Earth From Heaven. Some of those stories involved what seemed to be ordinary men who simply manifested from haze, fog or distorted atmosphere. They then walked up to us and explained what was happening, among many other things. And there was a rich male voice who spoke to us many times, a voice who encouraged us to change our ways and develop a closeness and communication with him. It was a voice who spoke from haze, craft, fog, mid air, and distorted atmosphere…similar, I imagine, how the historic God of The Bible spoke to humans.

About jafos

I am a 87 year old retired research and development electro/mechanical engineer with experience in the nuclear, aerospace, fluidic, civil and commercial fields...home builder, general contractor, artist, lecturer, author. Up until 1986, at age 48, I could recall some strange things that had occurred from my very early childhood...but I really couldn't understand them. Then in late 1986 through early 1987, in a very short time, I recalled, in extreme detail, an enormous number of so-called UFO encounters that had occurred throughout my life. Needless to say, I became almost totally devastated; my entire life was turned up-side down. A few witnesses have since recalled some of what I recalled, enough to convince me and them I am not psychotic or imaginative. In other words, believe it or not these unbelievable things actually happened. I have spent the last 30 years researching, writing and trying to understand. As a result of my intense efforts, I now can offer you three books and a website (http://www.johnfosterufos.com) to help you and humankind try to understand some of the hidden mysteries of life and UFOs. The mysterious intelligences connected to my encounters have told me that they are "the monitors and Keepers of the earth" and are responsible to a hierarchy that includes "the arch angels Michael and Gabriel," who are responsible to the entity we have know as "Christ," who is in charge of this corner of our immense complex universe. They explained further that they are not allowed to interfere in the affairs of humankind except at certain times, when things are going awry or are dangerous. They said this is one of those times, one of those eras. They continued to state that if they hadn't interfered in the past, we would have destroyed ourselves...and that if they don't interfere now and in the future, we will indeed destroy ourselves. Strictly for your own benefit, take a look at the information here on http://www.johnfosterufos.com and read the books I've written in order to understand in some detail what this is all about. The website and books can give you insight into how so-called UFO encounters have affected our sciences, religions, and history...and how they most likely will affect our future.

What an intriguing blog post exploring the intersection of personal UFO encounters and spiritual experiences with biblical themes. The detailed recollections of your UFO encounters, as well as the comparisons to biblical passages, offer a thought-provoking perspective. I was particularly struck by the vivid descriptions shared by your daughters, Karen and Kindra, regarding the Dillon Lake encounter.

I’m curious to know how these encounters have influenced your beliefs or understanding of spirituality over time. Have you found any connections between your UFO experiences and specific biblical teachings that have shaped your perspective on faith and the divine?
